Wow, I haven’t posted in a month.  A lot has been going on so let’s see if I can get you caught up!

In July we went to the lake for the annual Summer vacation!  This year was a bit different because we weren’t there with Andy, Tierney and Hayden (a first!).  Because our schedules didn’t work out, we invited the Swenson’s to join us for a few days.  We all had a blast to say the least.  Here are a few of my favorite pics!

Olivia loved the water!

It’s hard to pick just a few to share!  We took over 500 pics while we were there and needless to say we had a great time.  Can’t wait for Christmas when we head back!

Next up, Olivia turned 7 months but I failed and didn’t get a picture until a week before she turned 8 months…OOPS!

Mid August we went out to Orange County for the annual reunion with PJ’s USD buddies and their wives/kids.  Really I’m starting to think that it’s a reunion for the wives more than the guys.  We all get along so well and have so much fun together.  Here’s a few pics…

Olivia’s first time at the beach. She ended up with a mouth full of sand…ugh.

Olivia had so much fun playing with Cali!

The ladies!

Then Olivia turned 8 months!!

It’s been a great Summer but I for one am ready for FALL!  It’s been so warm here and it will be nice when it cools down (we’re getting a taste of it today).

Next up:  Andy and Tierney’s wedding at the end of the month!  We’re excited to see them get married and visit Telluride!  Hope you all are well!  I promise to try harder to update the blog more often.

The little Miss and I are headed to Michigan tomorrow to visit my parents and we’re REALLY excited to say the least!  I do have to say that I’m nervous and anxious about the big travel day mostly because PJ isn’t going with us.  This means I’ll be schleping all our stuff around by myself.  Once I get on the plane, I’ll feel better even though she could melt down.  I’m hopeful my little traveler will give me a whole lot of this

and none of this

While I’m at the lake, PJ won’t be twiddling his thumbs waiting for our return.  He’s headed to Lost Wages Las Vegas for a bachelor party.  It’s actually part of the reason I’m headed out of town.  It was a great opportunity to go see my folks and have a little extra help with Olivia while he’s gone.

Wish us luck!

Happy Thursday everyone!  We got nailed with a big winter storm overnight and the snow continues to fall today.  We’ve already had 8 inches in the city and I’m just loving the fact that we’ll have a white Christmas this year!

I have no desire to go out in this today, unless it means a trip to the hospital to meet our baby!  So instead I think I’ll have some of this

And do A LOT of this

And before I got off the phone with my Mom this morning, she challenged me to about 100 games of Double Solitaire.  You’re going down lady!

For those of you traveling in this mess, be safe out there!  I hope you all get where you’re going in one piece.

Want to know when we post?

Hey Everyone!

Quick update here.  Some of you have asked if I email when I post something new.  I don’t, but here are your options to find out when something is new on this little blog of ours.

If you take a look on the right hand side of the blog here, you’ll see this box below.  If you click the “follow” button, you’ll get an update from wordpress when we post something new.

The other option is to add our blog link to your Google Reader.  Then anytime that we post, it will highlight.  If you read various blogs and don’t use Google Reader, I highly suggest it.  Then you don’t waste your time checking websites to see if they have new content.

I hope you all decide to follow us!  Have a great Thursday!
